  • Part 1: Nine-day Boot Camp
    • The Boot Camp will begin on Monday 10/14. It will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for 3 consecutive weeks, concluding on Fri 11/1
    • Location : 16727 NE 88th St, Redmond, WA 98052
    • Time : 8:00-9:30pm
    • Registrants are expected to attend ALL nine days.
  • Part 2: Subsequent Year-long Course
    • Meets weekly on Wednesdays, in Sammamish

On completion of the Boot Camp, participants will be able to use the basic building block of the language to speak and understand simple Samskrit sentences. This will bootstrap and help accelerate the study of Shastra. 

The Boot Camp is for adults with a working knowledge of an Indian regional language. Please bring your enthusiasm, and plan to participate actively. No preparation is required.

Note: The Boot Camp does not require knowledge of the devanagari (hindi) script. However, the follow-up weekly class do require the ability to read devanagari. Our textbook will be in devanagari.

No, there will be no required homework. 

You are of course encouraged to practice your newly learned skills with other participants when opportunities present themselves.

A few handouts will be provided. Participants are encouraged to participate actively during the Boot Camp. You can safely leave your notebook at home 🙂  Please bring a pen to write your name on the handouts.

Please note: 3 to 4 cars can park in their driveway but others need to look for parking in the next lane (169th Ave NE) or downtown since parking is not allowed on the road in front of the house.

We will discuss the plan for the weekly classes towards the end of the Boot Camp. They will be held on Wednesday evenings (after 8pm) in Sammamish.
