The Bhagavad Gitā was our Pujya Gurudev Swami Chimayananda’s life breath. He wanted the Lord’s song to echo among people of all ages and across all continents. For that reason, the Srimad Bhagavad Gitā is the heart of Chinmaya Mission
At our Chinmaya Mission Seattle center, Bhagavad Gitā chanting is taught in the general assembly . In addition we offer chanting classes every Sunday for adults and children at different levels. Students are taught by trained and experienced teachers to chant and memorize the verses from the Bhagavad Gitā in a systematic manner with repetition and individual attention throughout the year. The goal of the class is not only to learn the verses, but to find joy in chanting the divine song of the Lord.
